LO3: Producing a final animated product.

Creating the Animation: When creating the animation, I import the different shots into Adobe Premiere and make sure they all have equal timing and are in the right order. The purpose of the scene below was to show that the bully is a terrifying and imposing person to Younger. I did this using a low angle and camera movement that's tilting upwards to give the feeling that he's towering over Younger. In the next shot, I show Younger from a high angle, which was done to show that the bully is belittling Younger and that he is weak. The clouds appearing in the background was also there to make the introduction of the bully more gloomy and melancholy, as this is the effect the bully has on Younger's life. The purpose of this scene was to show the brotherly bond between Younger and Older, that his older brother is always there for him, to pick him up when he's down. LO1: Planning a short animation.

My animation is called 'Brothers'. Form It will be a slice of life style short film animation. Animation Type The animation will be a 2D vector-based animation that has the visual style of a cut-out animation, a type of stop-motion animation. I feel this type of animation will fit with the lightheartedness of the story being told. Genre I'm aiming for the genre of the animation to be a drama as it focuses on a boy learning to stand up to a bully with his big brother being the catalyst of his development into being a much more confident person, helping him to stand up to the bully. Narrative The animation follows a boy called 'Younger' who is victim to a bully, with them being older than him they think they can bully him.
